High Resolution Soil Moisture Measurements from Uncrewed Aerial Systems

Weather Stream’s soil moisture data offering is a joint venture between Black Swift Technologies, Weather Stream, and the University of Colorado Center for Environmental Technology.  The venture offers innovative hardware and data services that provide detailed soil moisture mapping across various terrains. At the core of the approach is anovel, patent-pending L-band Differential Correlation Radiometer, paired with an advanced soil moisture retrieval algorithm. This combination allows for high-resolution insights into soil conditions, enabling more precise monitoring and analysis in a range of environments.
