Terra Space Lab and Weather Stream Announce Partnership to Enhance Technology and Commercial Capabilities

Boulder, Colorado – Terra Space Lab (TSL) and Weather Stream (WxS) today announced an agreement to expand their weather-related commercial offerings and capabilities. The partnership will result in a comprehensive range of advanced technology solutions that will allow the companies to serve new markets, expedite access to institutional funding, and produce cost savings.

Weather Stream, headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, specializes in providing weather and climate intelligence using microwave radiometer sensors on small satellites, advanced physics models, and AI algorithms. TSL is a Tel Aviv-based organization that provides global real-time wildfire early detection, and event monitoring using multispectral infrared sensors.  Through this partnership, the two companies will collaborate on the development of a joint system for monitoring and predicting weather and wildfires that will provide unparalleled accuracy and insight into weather patterns and wildfire risks.

TSL and WxS address commercial opportunities based on their environmental monitoring sensor capabilities and advanced technical solutions for managing risk. In addition, they will pursue funding from government and bilateral foundations to support these joint initiatives.

“We are excited to partner with Weather Stream to bring together our respective strengths in technology and weather monitoring,” said Mr. Meir Chen, CEO of TSL. “This agreement represents a significant opportunity for us to expand our capabilities and develop innovative new solutions that will help our customers better manage risk and improve decision-making.”

“We are honored to work with Terra Space Lab and develop this joint system for monitoring weather and wildfires,” said Michael Hurowitz, CEO of Weather Stream. “By combining our expertise and resources, we believe we can create a groundbreaking solution that will provide unprecedented insights into environmental risks, and help customers make more informed decisions and improve operations.”
